1. About this notice

This Cookie Notice explains the cookies and tracking technologies Bookspot uses, and supplements our Privacy Policy. Australia does not require a cookie consent banner, but we want you to know what is collected and why.

2. Cloudflare Turnstile

We use Cloudflare Turnstile on public surfaces to distinguish humans from automated bots. Turnstile collects signals such as your IP address and device characteristics to run its challenge. This is a third-party service, and the signals may be processed by Cloudflare outside Australia.

A lawyer should confirm the disclosure of Turnstile as a collection practice and third-party disclosure, and that the Cloudflare arrangement provides APP-equivalent protections for the cross-border transfer.

3. Session cookies

Authenticated Users (Owners, Staff, and Consultants) receive session cookies for authentication and session management. These cookies are essential: if you block them, you will not be able to sign in to /admin or the platform console.

4. Analytics

We do not currently run third-party analytics or advertising tracking pixels. If we introduce them, we will update this notice and our Privacy Policy.

Standard clause — No current analytics

Stating the current state plainly is good practice. A lawyer should confirm this remains accurate before publication and is updated if analytics are added.

5. How to manage cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Because session cookies are essential to signed-in features, blocking them will limit what you can do on the platform. Turnstile runs on public surfaces regardless of your sign-in state.

6. Third-party processors

Cookie and tracking data may be processed by third parties — currently Cloudflare for Turnstile. Their processing locations are described in our Privacy Policy under overseas disclosure.

7. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time and will publish the updated version on the platform with a revised date.
